Qatar

The State of Qatar (Arabic: قطر [English: kût'ər]), an emirate in the Middle East, occupies the small Qatar Peninsula which is part of the larger Arabian Peninsula. It borders Saudi Arabia to the south; otherwise the Persian Gulf surrounds the country.
